How to get there
Karlsruhe is located at a transport hub that can be reached quickly and easily from all directions. Via the dense motorway network (A5, A8, A65) around the city.
Or you land at the major international airport in Frankfurt/Main with its integrated ICE train station. From there you can take the non-stop train to Karlsruhe in exactly one hour.
And with the tram or S-Bahn you can also travel quickly within the city via an exemplary local transport network.
From the A5/A8 motorway:
On the A8 from Stuttgart, follow the A5 in the direction of “Basel”, there you leave the A5 at exit no. 48 “Karlsruhe-Süd” and follow the signs “Messe”.
From the A65 motorway:
The A65 turns into the B10. Leave the B8 at exit no. 10 and follow the signs “Messe”.
Parking spaces:
On the exhibition grounds you will find a total of 7.000 parking spaces in 3 parking lots (P1, P2, and P3) as well as a parking lot for VIP/press.
To access via the main entrance, select car park P1. The P2 and P3 parking spaces are suitable for access via the east entrance.
By plane
The Karlsruhe exhibition center can be easily reached via four airports: via Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden Airport (approx. 30 minutes by car to get to Karlsruhe)
as well as the international airports of Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Strasbourg (50 – 60 minutes by car).
By train
Karlsruhe is a hub for ICE, InterCity, EuroCity and InterRegio connections and is directly on the ICE route from Hamburg via Frankfurt to Basel. The west-east axis from Karlsruhe via Stuttgart to Munich also begins from here. From Paris you can reach Karlsruhe in just 2,5 hours with the TGV.
